Covid crises: inspirational words of encouragement to lift your mood and your consciousness. Image of heart with text and a magnolia tree against a blue sky. Good Conscious Life.

Many of us are looking for inspirational words of encouragement in this time of Covid. Hopefully, I can help you a little bit along the way.

This chaotic time may give rise to many questions and thoughts:

  • What will the time afterward be like?
  • When is “after” actually?
  • How much longer do I have to go without seeing my loved ones?
  • What if I or my loved ones get seriously ill?
  • Will I survive financially?
  • Will the economy completely collapse?

Once we start, we end up generating such questions endlessly. But the answers to these questions are mostly uncertain and beyond our control, often leaving us with a sense of discomfort and helplessness.

For all we truly know is: Nothing! We know nothing!

And it’s always been this way. This situation just highlights it. We’ve never really been able to control things in the outside world. Yes, we can influence the world to a certain extent, but in the end, things do what they do. The world does what the world does. People do what people do. Viruses do what viruses do.

The only thing we truly have a say in is our choice of experience. We can ALWAYS choose the meaning we want events to have for us. That is entirely our decision. 100%. The virus can just keep on doing its thing (because it will anyway). 😉

So if you want to empower yourself during this time, you can try asking a slightly different kind of question, where the answer can always be found, as it only concerns your own desired life experience.

For example, you can ask yourself:

  • If this time were to represent an important turning point in my life, what would that be?
  • What is the most important thing I’ve learned, and what meaning should it have for my life going forward?
  • Which sides of myself have I come into contact with, what have they told me, and how will I act on these insights?
  • What have I had time to do that has truly been beneficial, and how can I integrate it into my life more permanently?

… and so on. 😊
