The Ultra Short Budweiser History
Budweiser is a very popular American brand of beer. Apparently
it's the most sold beer in the United States.
Budweiser was introduced to the thirsty American population
all the way back in 1876 by Adolphus Busch who had recently
immigrated from Germany.
The name Budweiser actually means 'of Budweis' or 'from
Budweis' and Budweis or Böhmisch Budweis is the name of an
old beer loving town in the Czech Republic.
Back in 1876 Adolphus actually went to see Budweis which has
a very old beer history. In fact Budweis has had beer breweries
ever since the dark Middle Ages.
Apparently Adolphus was so enthused and delighted with this
town, its history and beer that he decided for the name
Budweiser.
Today the legacy of Budweiser consists not only of the great
beer but also of the fabulous Budweiser commercials.
